music
When push comes to shove, there is nothing that can hold a candle to classical music for beauty, expression, feeling, and art. Especially classical choral music. It belongs in heaven (when done well)
I mean, jazz is nice for contemporary stuff, and rock has appeal (undeniably) and all the bands and groups I like are great (BTW, Sherri Youngward has a new album! And Aaron Sprinkle a new band!!) But while I love them and totally dig their music, I still must say that they are rather inferior to a good classical choir, just for the sheer exhilarating splendor a good one has.
Or can we even compare the two?
