A month; a late night
A month has passed. It is dark by five o’clock. Snow has thrown its icy glory on us. Emma (rather but not wholly against my wishes) made me a music myspace, of all nonsensical things. Urinetown rocked, and ended. November is gone. Christmas is here. I’ve had lows and highs. I’ve realized some ugly truths about myself and some beautiful truths about Jesus. I’ve learned how to play “Holding up the sky” by Buddy and Julie Miller. I’ve sung on a Christmas ship that went to Mercer Island. I have been lonely, miserable, ecstatic, reflective, cold, joyful, desperate, and victorious, each in turn. I have been waiting. I wait still. Love is not beyond me yet.
Happy December.
Happy December.
