and, on a related note...
My sister just started reading A Wrinkle In Time.
And I just finished Pickwick Papers, which took me more than a week of on-and-off reading.
Also: On Writing by Stephen King (I laughed out loud more than once and highly recommend). One more chapter of Guns, Germs, and Steel-- but I haven't picked it up since early August. Stuck in the middle(s) of Sophie's World, a novel about the history of philosophy, and Siddhartha, a novel about the Buddha.
