Things I have culled from typing up student evaluations at work. 

-The words opportunity and experience are dead. Cut them. Facilitate, too. Sentences like We had a lot of opportunities-- (Faculty member name here) facilitated so many learning experiences should be destroyed from the earth.

-However should always go in the middle of the sentence

-The words I think and I feel are superfluous.

-Writing down concerns, even if they are valid, tends to sound like complaining.

-Very and really are really, very dead.
