Tonight I am dressing up as a cowgirl and going to serve hot dogs to little kids and their families.

At Church.

YAY! harvest festival!!!

today was a good day. I got to answer a letter from a kid from uzbeckistan (sp). My world geo class, starting today, is corresponding to a class of kids in that far-off country. I think the one I replied to was a boy (couldn't tell from the name). It was fun. The only pill in the jam was the fact that the best letter, which was from a girl and was like 2 pages long, was answered by a boy who wrote about a half a page! I stayed in during star and read some of the other letters. Their grammer is a little off sometimes, but most of the letters are really sweet. This is such a cool experience we get to have!!

yesterday, after a piano lesson that could only have been a very little worse (due of course, to my lack of practice) I got a very good gift. I think it was from God... my sister returned from the library with a book I didn't even remember placing on hold. And I definitely didn't get the email notice that I could pick it up. It was a REALLY GOOD BOOK. It's called "Kilmeny of the orchard", by L.M. Montgomery (author of the Anne books), and it's this sweet old- fashioned love story. It was short enough to read and still have time to get all my homework done. I highly reccomend it to any one who need something to read on a rainy day.

ahh...
