You absolutely must listen to:
-Patty Griffin "Making Pies" and "Rain" from her album "1000 kisses" and "Useless Desire" from her album "Impossible dream" (she is, quite frankly, a genius songwriter, and I actually felt priviledged to hear her cd)
-Velvet Teen "Radiapathy" and "The Prize Fighter" from their album "Out of the Fierce Parade" (definitely get-up-and-go songs)
-Sherri Youngward "She looks to the skies" from her 2nd album (forgot the name)
-and: Switchfoot (all of "new way to be human"), Julie Anne Lains (if you have the little gold cd I have of hers... but i think its demo...) and The Beatles ("Revolver" esp. "for no one" and "here, there, and everywhere")
