What I'm thankful for
-My family: You can't go wrong with people who debate the finer points of Star Trek during Thanksgiving Dinner. Or sisters who make percussive noises while being moral support for door-to-door orange sellers (which is actually harder than it would seem). And then there is the sign on Rebekah's door "No emmas or louser's aloud (parents are ok). Ducky"
I'm still laughing at that one
And then Seth, besides being his normal awesome self, gave me the most hilarious book about writing. I'll post some excepts soon.
-Glorious choral music: I'm so lucky to be doing what I'm doing. It lifts my spirits every rehersal. There is something unearthly, angel-like about most of the beautiful songs we are doing, both in SCC and at school. I am truly fortunate.
- Grandmas who take one to the ballet: I must go change so I'm ready. I hope you had a lovely day today. Mine is improving. (I'm typing this while listening both to the dulcet tones of Rosie Thomas, and my dad is watching Alien Vs. Predator in the background. So I'm hearing "It don't matter (spilce, shriek) to the sun (prolonged scream) if you go or if you stay (nasty squishing, foreboding music)."
fun fun.
