Christe eleison, kyrie kyrie eleison.
-Orbán (whose Mass No. 6 I am enamoured of. Find it and listen, or come to my SCC concert Sunday and hear three of the four mind-blowing movements.)
I won a music scholarship from the Choir of the Sound tonight. I was so surprised I skipped a little down the aisle to get it. You see, I had convinced myself that someone else would get it so I wouldn't be too disappointed. So it was more-than-pleasant to hear my name being announced. I may have shrieked a little.
There, that was good news. I wanted to wait for some good news before posting. It has been one of the weirdest weeks ever.
I don't like crying, but sometimes it is a relief. I don't like homework, but sometimes it is a blessed diversion from my thoughts. I don't like talking to myself, but sometimes it helps to remind myself that it is ok to feel sad, and to cry, ok to feel glad, and to laugh, and to talk to people about my Grandpa, and ok to shriek at good news.
