Catch-Bag

"e'en so here below, below
let steeple bells be swungen
and io, io, io
by priest and people sungen"

...

I'm going to go see Choral Arts on Friday. Students get in free!
I rejoice.
If you, unknown and nameless reader, are around, you should come with me.

...

My grandma dug an autoharp out of her closet and gave it to me. I've been tuning it very slowly and carefully, since I broke the high A string when I was tuning it at her house. The instructional book that came with it (from the sixties) is retro-fantastic.

...

I have been getting a surfeit of sleep. Again, I rejoice.
But...
I am tired, all the same. Why is that?

...

I read The Amber Spyglass, the last of the His Dark Materials set by Phillip Pullman. There have been many things written about it, including this article by Jeffery Overstreet, so go and read it, if you are curious.
Personally, I liked the first book, The Golden Compass, fine. It drew me in. So did the second book. The third one, not so much... nor was it so engaging. I was able to put it down easily to go to sleep last night, which is never a good indicator.
I probably won't go see the movie. However, that is mostly due to my lack of interest in springing the cash to see any movies at all right now.

...

I heard Phil Wickham's new cd today. It was fine, but nothing to make me stop dead in my tracks. I'll give it another listen. His voice slides too much for my taste.

...

I am currently in love with: Dancing around while waving a light-up plastic ring.
